DEVELOPER'S SOLUTION
In order to satisfy dermatologists' recommendations to "moisturize while wet", we developed an oil in water emulsion with penetration enhancers formulated to incorporate the residual water on the skin after showering to provide a non-greasy, effective hydrating system. Utilizing the optimum substrate to dispense the emulsion as the cloth absorbs the water from the skin ensures uniform transfer of the lotion and ease of overall application. Systems incorporating polymers have been subsequently developed for time release moisturizing and/or the delivery of therapeutics (including sunscreen and drugs).

MARKETER'S VIEWPOINT
Respond to the consumer's growing demands for convenient moisturizing products and their increased awareness that moisturization should occur on wet skin. AQUA SILK™ - the only "all over" body moisturizer formulated to be used at the moment the skin is most absorbent - right after the heat and steam of a shower/bath has opened the pores.

MARKETING STRATEGY
Introduce the quickest, most convenient way to smoother, softer, silkier skin.

CONSUMER'S REVIEW
Qualitative and quantitative concept and product tests conducted across the U.S. resulted in an extremely strong interest in both the concept and the product after use. Main reasons to purchase confirm the high appeal of a convenient, yet effective after-shower moisturizer. "It's right there in the shower, I turned the water off, moisturized with the cloth, dried off and got dressed". "It's not only quick - I feel moisturized all day".

TECHNOLOGY FLEXIBILITY
Formulations targeted at a range of skin types, fragrance or non-fragrance preferences, and medicated formulas geared toward skin disorders such as psoriasis, are possible. The patents allow for the inclusion of a variety of cosmetic and therapeutic agents.
