DEVELOPER'S SOLUTION
In order to overcome the inconvenience of discarding the used fabric softener sheet after each dryer load, we invented a series of unusual formulations of anionic solidifying ingredients and cationic softening ingredients combined with dispersing agents and a fresh clean substantive scent. After the molten mixture is cast, it solidifies into shaped sheets, ie: squares, tabs, circles or designs, each approximately 5-7 grams. These unique systems provide better softening in the dryer than currently marketed dryer sheets and have an additional advantage of allowing use in the washing machine.
MARKETER'S VIEWPOINT
Introduce a totally modern, different looking and high performing dryer additive that appeals and satisfies both liquid and dryer fabric softener users.
MARKETING STRAGEGY
Introduce the only fabric softener sheet that "disappears".
CONSUMER'S REVIEW
A Qualitative concept and product test for "Simply Soft" was conducted in 2 U.S. cities. The product evoked an excellent level of Intent to Purchase prior and after a 3-week in home test period. Dryer Fabric Softener Users applauded the idea of "no sheet to find and throw away" and both Dryer and Liquid users were attracted to the heightened softening effect from a product used in the dryer.
TECHNOLOGY FLEXIBILITY
Aside from the obvious fabric softening and anti static effects, the current ReGenesis formulations and patent positions offer a wide range of dryer and washer added fabric treatment results.
