主讲人介绍：
Professor Henry Yeung has been Distinguished Professor at the Department of Geography, National University of Singapore, since 2018, and Professor of Economic Geography since 2005. As a leading academic expert in global production networks and the global economy, his research interests cover broadly theories and the geography of transnational corporations, East Asian firms. And developmental states. He is the first geographer based in Asia to receive both the 2018 American Association of Geographers Distinguished Scholarship Honors (“in recognition of his extraordinary scholarship and leadership in the discipline") and the UK's Royal Geographical Society Murchison Award 2017 (for "pioneering publications in the field of globalization”). ln November 2022, he was conferred the 2022 Sir Peter Hall Award for Lifetime Contribution to the Field by the Regional Studies Association in London: "acknowledging and celebrating excellence in the field of regional studies"
讲座摘要：
Based on the lead-authored chapter on semiconductors in Global Value Chain Development Report 2023 (October 2023) and the recent monograph Interconnected Worlds (Stanford University Press, June 2022), this presentation focuses on the role of global production networks and global value chains in understanding the geography of trade in the 21st century. Prof Yeung argues that the recent troubles with international trade and supply chain constraints can be better understood through a closer look at the complex and changing organization of global production networks and global value chains. Using the examples of electronics and semiconductors, he shows how this understanding is critical in decoding the ongoing geopolitical shifts and policy support for reshoring and the localization of production. The research ends with some key implications for research agendas and policy practice.

潘峰华，教授。北京师范大学地理科学学部副部长，主要从事经济地理学、金融地理学、城市与区域发展方面的研究，主持国家自然科学基金委优青、面上和青年基金等研究课题，是全球金融地理研究网络（FinGeo）发起人，担任《地理科学》、Transactions in Planning and Urban Research、Finance and Space等期刊编委，曾获得第14届中国青年地理科技奖。
宋周莺，中国科学院地理科学与资源研究所研究员、博士生导师，区域可持续发展模拟研究室主任，中国科学院大学教授，入选中国科学院首批特聘骨干岗位；兼任中国地理学会“一带一路”研究分会秘书长，“一带一路”协同创新中心秘书长，国际区域研究协会中国分会理事、秘书长。主要从事“一带一路”与经贸关系相关研究。主持或参与国家自然科学基金、国家科技支撑计划、中国科学院先导专项、中科院重点部署项目，以及国家发改委、自然资源部、科学技术部等部委及地方委托项目40多项。先后发表学术论文90多篇，参编著作12部。
朱晟君，北京大学城市与环境学院研究员，博导，博雅青年学者。入选海外高层次引进人才（青千），主持国家自然科学基金优青项目。获得黄廷方/信和杰出青年学者奖，中国地理学会科学技术奖-青年科技奖、中国地理学会2021年度“中国地理科学十大研究进展”等奖励。兼任教育部地表过程与模拟重点实验室副主任、中国地理学会经济地理专业委员会副主任、全国经济地理研究会常务理事、中国城市经济学会理事兼青年工作委员会副主任、国际区域研究协会中国分会理事兼副秘书长，英文期刊Growth and Change共同主编，中文期刊《热带地理》和《世界地理研究》以及英文期刊Environment and Planning A、Progress in Economic Geography、Post-communist Economies和Chinese Geographical Science编委，剑桥大学出版社Development Trajectories in Global Value Chains系列丛书共同主编。主要关注全球化与区域发展，产业转型和产业升级，城市经济和产业发展等。已发表中英文论文100余篇，其中英文论文50余篇，出版中英文专著3本。
符大海，中央财经大学国际经济与贸易学院副教授、全球经济与可持续发展研究中心副主任，兼任全国高校国际贸易学科协作组青年论坛副秘书长、澳大利亚中国经济研究学会（CESA）副会长。主持国家社科基金项目、教育部人文社科研究项目、校级青年科研创新团队支持计划项目和一流学科建设项目等，已在World Development、Economics Letters、China Economic Review、Economic Modelling等国际知名SSCI期刊和《世界经济》《中国工业经济》等国内权威期刊发表论文五十余篇。
